What is a Title IX Violation?

Policy Violations:

-Sexual Harassment: includes unwelcome sexual advances which unreasonably interfere with another's work or academic performance.

-Sexual Violence: includes abuse inflicted on another person with the intent to gain power or control.

-Stalking: includes excessive calling or texting, following, and watching.

-Retaliation: includes threats, intimidation, pressuring, continued harassment and violence.

Anyone can perpetrate a Title IX violation. If you or someone you know is the victim of sexual harassment, seek help, do not accept illegal action.
